Hm, I loved it

I really loved the animaiton. Especailly after he fires that gun and the flames kind of spiral out. And the whole sleepy way they try to kill each other ^^. Nice job...and don't get angry at people who leave bad reviews, us real reviewers have got your back, I'm pretty sure it's flagged as abusive by now. Ima go look at your other stuff now =)

Rutger responds:

Thanks dude! Glas you understand! ^^
Haha, I liked 'this way' of you too :')

art not the best, but great quality

It's obvious you spent some good time on this. The characters did not look the best, but they were unique, and the syncing witht he music was well done. Did you make that preloader by yourself? that was wicked. Nice effort, overall, i'll keep an eye out if you make another vid.

King-Drake responds:

Thanks. The preloader was probably the hardest part about it, jejeje.

Excellent artwork!

Excellent artwork. The sound worked ok, but I got the same thing for some people when I did a music video on here, that it was out of sync. How did you draw the water in the beginning, that was excellent. Did you use photoshop or something? Good cartoon, but I would suggest adding more of an explanation of what is going on. (with the weird cat creature n the goblin and greenthing m stuff) also, great job with the motion blurring....was that photoshop as well?

Sp1cy responds:

Oh my, thank you :)
Yea, the story is not the best, to be honest, I have no story.
Nothing is photshop, it's pure flash and drawn with mouse.
The water it's most frame by frame, hard to explain, just did my thing.
Thanks for the nice review.

Ahaha, sick

Lol, at the end, the shark left the message. I like your stuff because its deranged, but in a way that is supremely entertaining. People just vote low low on this because they don't understand it... not that a fecal-dwelling sewer carnivore is very profound...but you know what I mean...

MakoSucks responds:

Yeah I know what you mean. People thought I killed babies because I had a cartoon where a stick figure kills a baby stick figure. Judgmental bastards!

A good effort, even if the quality wasn't the best

You put some work into this, and I hope it passes. Of course, my main suggestion would be to work on your characters. One thing that I would suggest it to play around with the paintbrush feature in flash, it gives a very fluid look to things that you draw. That way, your character might not have those jagged edges. Keep working on your animation!

ranma-kun7 responds:

I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for the tip.

Nice Graphics

Your use of blur effects was amazing... did you just use adobe for that? Would have been neat to see some more animation, and it looked like the animation got cut short, maybe the song. Only a couple of the graphics were iffy, and it looks liek you just got lazy on those =) overall, nice job, and good choice of music.

GloineFiodh responds:

Thanks. I do get lazy... Really lazy. And I am also impatient. I can't stand having a flash sit on my computer to long. Thats why it gets rushed. Thanks though!

Funny stuff

I really like your animation, I hope you put more on newgrounds. My fav of yours is the haloween flash that you did, because it was very unique and humorous. I cracked up at bits like the cow that was just randomly standing there :D

Noxx11 responds:

Thanks a million! The music had been a little more synched when I made it, so the cow was supposed to come when there was a "moo" in the music. I'm working on next halloween's movie.

A bit crude, but amusing

I like how you incorporated alot of flash techniques in this flash. I'm guessing it's one of your earlier works, but it works nicely with the music. Ooc, how do you add music to a flash, do you just put it in the first frame of the movie? Funny ending in its own grisly way.

sysrq868 responds:

This is my second submission, and pretty much also my second flash work ever. That's why it... could be better.

For music, add a new layer to the flash, create a keyframe where you want the music to start and from the frame's properties, select the music that you have previously added to the library. You might find some aid from Google.

Thanks for the review!

kewl!

This is pretty neat, I like how you shaded alot of the stuff without lines, especially the man, and how the shades of color worked with the body, the face, and the eyes. I have a question though, how do you make that blur effect, like in the opening to your flash, with the white letters? This was pretty neat, a bit better than your number flash which you just submitted, but I like the style that I see in your flashes, kind of a pink panther-esque, confused artsy thing going on.

sysrq868 responds:

Glad that you liked it!

Mostly the blue effects are Photoshop's motion blur. For the intro, I used radial blur.

Thanks for the review!

Pretty Nifty

Random can be good. The black and white style may have been intended, but maybe a background might have helped? I liked the number idea, gives a very trippy/boggly sense, especially at the beginning. At bits the number animation seemed choppy, but for the most part it was good. Looks like you put some decent work into this =)

sysrq868 responds:

Thanks for your pointers, they really mean the world to me!

Thanks for the review too!
